Better Brief

I worked at Better Brief as an in-house developer from 2011 until 2014, they were a great company to work for but sadly they no-longer exist due to management issues.

While there I worked with other team members to develop a lot of marketing websites using the Silverstripe Framework on PHP. My day to day was working on these new websites, adding advanced features to existing websites, managing Linux hosting for clients (including migrating from shared hosting to VPS) and any other esoteric task they needed (I migrated the office from IMAP to G Suite and also provided IT support for a few external companies).

Some of my favourite projects from this time are below. With the web being what it is many of these websites (including the Better Brief site) are now offline or have been redesigned but I captured screenshots from when they were available.
