Gumball 3000
I worked with Sahara Technology to develop a new site for Gumball 3000. Initially I helped to model the database, build the core backend functionality, integrate the Angular JS and CSS frontend and build a custom content management system with image manipulation functionality.
Since the launch of this website I have maintained and improved the CSS and JavaScript for existing pages and developed new features based on client feedback. Most recently we replaced the shop component with Shopify which included building a custom implementation using the Shopify APIs to move the stock levels across and synchronise.
We also build a full custom CRM for managing the applicants, entrants, staff, venues and more for the race to make running the race more efficient.
Finally, we also built a competitive charity donation website for the Gumball Foundation that is used to determine the order of entrants on the grid at the start of the race. This software has been projected up on large screens at events multiple times right up until the start of the event.
